FuseFX(TM) - Water Base Matting Powder
For professional use only
FuseFX Matting is a water base powder designed to eliminate the shine off of surface painted prosthesis.
When used along with M – 110 Clear, it creates a flat matt finish with little to no sheen.
FuseFX Matting contains NO Amorphous Silica and NO Cabosil.
For example:
After completing the final coat of touch-up, extrinsic or airbrushed painting, apply a coat of M – 110
Clear and let cure or force dry with a hair dryer.
Apply a second coat of M – 110 Clear, this time very thinly, just enough to "wet" the surface. Go over the
surface with a “dry” brush to pick up any extra blobs of paint making the surface even. It must be almost
completely wiped-off otherwise it will leave little specks of white powder. In this case you can touch it
up the white spots with a little touch of color.
Now loosely apply the FuseFX Matting powder by sprinkling or using a dry brush, dusting the surface as you go.
Once fully covered, use a hair dryer to force the surface to set, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Once cured, you can wash the prosthesis under warm to hot water and a little soap, pat dry and the surface is now ready.
If you missed any spots, simply apply a thin coat of M – 110 Clear to the shiny areas and add a little FuseFX Matting matting powder.
Use a hair dryer to force the surface to set, about 3 to 5 minutes. Once cured, you can wash the prosthesis under warm to hot water and a little soap and pat dry.
If you want to add a little sheen to your matt surface, you can lightly stipple a coat of M – 110 Cear and tap with a lint free tissue.
